Just what we needed?

The state monopoly stores here in Norway claim to be short of shelf space for premium beers, so the selection in most shops is pitiful. Funny then that they manage to find space for three liter bottles of Heineken, a silly product if there ever was one!

I have to agree with you, although I admittedly have a bit of a fondness for novelty items. I also must admit that I was a bit tempted to buy a similiar size bottle of Leffe Blond at a Swedish Systembolag shop (too heavy to schlep on the Oslo train, though). That is not the greatest beer available to serve, but a huge bottle of that would probably bring grins to the faces of my guests at a party.
